Jeremiah 31:3
Long ago the LORD said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.”
God loves you with a love that is EVERLASTING and UNFAILING. Think about that for a moment.
What if you mess up? Does God cut you off? Nope – He keeps drawing us back to Himself. Now, that doesn’t give us freedom to go on a sin rampage. That would be abusing God’s gift of love.
Instead, think about how grateful you are to have a relationship, a friendship, with the One whose love for you never ends and never fails. Incredible! Even better, share that love with someone who needs it. You are truly loved.
This is The Daily for Fri, Oct 23, 2026 – and this is NOT what I had planned.
We had a tragic car accident on North 5 Thursday morning, that ended the lives of two adults and one unborn baby boy. The adults probably had plans for the weekend, for next week, next year, then in a moment, everything changed.
We don’t know. We just don’t. We trust in the One who does, but WE don’t know.
This is why I tell you I love you as often as I can, possibly every time I see you, or grab a hug when I can, or drop you one more chat, not to be annoying or to go overboard, but because at some point, that will be the last time, at least while we’re on the planet.
We’re not physically invincible. And when you think about the things we argue and fight over- money, relationships, politics, people power, etc., those things just don’t mean as much when compared to eternity. Grow your relationship with God now. Don’t wait.
I never want you to forget how great you are, how important you are and how much you are cared about and loved. That’s why I work to invest in you.
So, I’ll tell you at least one more time, and I mean it every time I say it, I really do love you guys. You are the best.

Your mind is incredible! You are incredible! Use your mind responsibly and decide to make smart decisions that honor God.

Micah 7:7-8
As for me, I look to the Lord for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me. Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.
In Micah’s time (8th Century), corrupt leaders used rigged courts to steal land and crush poor families, while bought-off priests and prophets promised God’s blessing in exchange for bribes.
Micah called out their lies and hypocrisy, so he wasn’t very popular with the “powerful” people, BUT He knew the truth, where true power comes from.
Remember this: People-based power is always temporary. It always runs out of energy and another person moves in to take it over.
We worship God, who never runs out of juice, who loves us because He made us, and who won’t fail us, even when things look dark and bleak.
Don’t fall for the lie that people-power is the way. If it goes against what the Lord has said, stick with Him. Trust in His power. If you’re trusting in people-power, make the switch today.
