The 12:30 is a Small Group in Lebanon, Missouri. We are Christian believers that want to become who God has created us to be and to encourage others to do the same.
The 12:30 comes from Mark 12:30 in the Bible. Jesus was asked – What is the greatest commandment? He responded by saying,
Love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul, and all your strength.
We believe that these four areas make up a complete person:
- Heart = Your emotional self (loving others, caring encouraging, desires, feelings, affections)
- Mind = Your mental self (learning, thinking, problem solving, intelligence, understanding)
- Soul = Your spiritual self (our connection to God, personality, self-awareness, inner-self, the deeper understanding of how we fit into God’s creation and plan)
- Strength = Your physical self (your body, serving, working, power, energy, ability, skills and talents)
This leads us to our Mission and Purpose:
Our mission is to:
- Love God fully,
- Share His grace with others, and
- Make Heaven crowded.
We do life together. We are The 12:30.
