This is The Daily for Tue, Oct 6, 2026. 

Walking along a beach at dawn, an old man saw that the changing tides had stranded thousands of starfish on the beach.  They would die when the morning sun grew hot.

He noticed a young man repeatedly picking up starfish and tossing them back into the sea, one by one.

“There are miles of beach and thousands of starfish,” the old man said. “How can your efforts make any difference?”

The young man looked down at the small starfish in his hand, and as he threw it to safety in the sea, he said, “Made a difference to that one!”

Today, go make a difference where you are. Don’t let anybody talk you out of it. Who knows how God might use you today?

This is The Daily for Mon, Oct 5, 2026. Each Monday, we are exploring our identity in Christ – and this one means a lot to me. 

Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

If other people, your inner voice, the enemy, your feelings, social media, or whenever anything or anyone makes you feel “less than” or worthless, THEY ARE WRONG. 

You, my friend, are priceless. 

Don’t let anything or anyone rob you of who God created you to be. You truly are His masterpiece. 

Masterpiece = a creation done with great skill, representing either an artist’s greatest work or a supreme artistic and intellectual achievement.

The Daily BONUS – 2026-10-04

This is a BONUS edition of The Daily for Sun, Oct 4, 2026. 

I don’t usually send these on a weekend, but felt strongly I needed to today. It is SO important for us to get together and encourage each other. SO IMPORTANT. But, don’t limit it to the church building. 

Get together at school too, at a friend’s place, on a court or field, a food place, FaceTime, wherever and however you can hang out. And ENCOURAGE each other. 

For me, just being around you, in person or getting a message or fun photo, encourages me – you don’t even have to say anything. All of it, any of it – stay connected and encourage each other. It matters so much, as do you.

The Daily – 2026-10-02

This is The Daily for Fri, Oct 2, 2026. 

Today, one of my anchor verses. I love this so much:

Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. 

Do not add to his words, or he may rebuke you and expose you as a liar.

– Proverbs 30:5-6

Consider This: It’s 2 promises and a warning. 

God’s Word is YOUR Ultimate Source. The One Source of Truth. 

He doesn’t just give you a shield for protection. He IS your shield of protection – WHEN we go to Him. 

And beware – we must be careful NOT try to add extra meanings to God’s Word – He will correct us and protect His word. Nothing wrong with having an opinion. Just don’t claim it must be God’s opinion too, if the Word doesn’t say so.

This is The Daily for Thu, Oct 1, 2026. 

Proverbs 17:22 
A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.

If you’re feeling a little low, a little down, a little worn down, look for ways to add some joy into your life:

Name your blessings and thank God for them. 

Hang out with a friend you haven’t talked to for a while. 

Serve someone who has a need. 

Bless someone with a positive word or a small gift.

Don’t just wear a fake smile. That would be like putting a Band-Aid on a broken elbow – useless. You can serve someone today, even in a small way. God can use small acts of service to make a big difference. Be a blessing and receive a blessing. Love you guys.
