This is The Daily for Sep 1, 2026. A reminder for today. Everyone fails sometimes, but that doesn’t equal failure. We get back up. We keep going. Failing makes you smarter, wiser and more prepared for next time. Remember, YOU DON’T LOSE – you either win or you learn. Losing means “Game Over,” and your game isn’t over yet. Love you guys!
Today’s Daily is a simple, powerful Proverb for Mon, Aug 31. I’m sure you have ideas and thoughts about how the week will go. We definitely have our plans, but we can’t forget what God has planned. We can trust Him to order our steps in the best way possible.
Today, Lord, Help me to see how you are ordering my steps. Help us to trust your way, knowing there’s a purpose for the steps you’ve setup for us. Amen.
During our 12:30 Small Group this week, we talked about how God’s plan and way of doing things doesn’t make sense sometimes. God sees things that we don’t. It’s during those times we have to trust Him. And I can promise you, based on my own experience, that He is trustworthy and He is faithful. You can trust Him. It’s worth it! Love you guys. Take a look at today’s Daily.
Happy Thursday! Today, a simple but powerful thought for you:
“If we do not fill our mind with prayer, it will fill itself with anxieties, worries, temptations, resentments and unwelcome memories.” – Scott Hahn
Consider: Do I need to change what I’m filling my mind with? If so, decide and do it! If you’re not sure how, message us.
Love you guys!
Take a moment and read God’s Word this morning:
Joshua 1:5-6
No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you. “Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them.
In this situation, Moses, their leader, had died and people were unsure about their future. All they had were questions.
Think: If you and I really believe God when He says, “I will not fail you or abandon you,” how would we live differently because of that promise?
Love you guys.
