14 Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them.

15 Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.

16 Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!

16 Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.

Quick challenge before you get too far into your day: Look around your room right now and spot 3 ordinary things you usually take for granted (your shoes, a working charger, a family member, a hot shower, a photo, anything).

Ephesians 5:20 says, “And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 

Gratitude isn’t just a feeling; it’s paying attention. Thank God for those 3 specific gifts before you head out today… and look for ways to extend gratitude to those around you today. 

I’m truly grateful for you and I thank God for your life.
