Dating relationships can be complicated. They don’t have to be, but often times they become that way. One way to make it less complicated is to build it on the right foundation from the very beginning.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised.

Many times, it’s someone’s looks (beauty) or personality (charm) that attracts us to them, at first. But, what is their relationship with the Lord like? Do they have a personal relationship with God? 

That answer will likely affect whether your relationship will be mostly smooth or mostly rocky. And it’s a great question to talk through, together!
