Colossians 3:15 
And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.

I love Scripture like this that has so much wrapped into a single verse!

No matter what is going on around me, the peace of Christ rules inside me. It’s powerful to know that even when the storm rages around you, you can have peace. 

We are one body. You have gifts and abilities I don’t have. We need each other. We only create damage if we try to divide ourselves apart from each other. 

And always be thankful. I love that. I recently saw a challenge statement that said, “Think of someone who brightens your life.” Instantly, every one of you came to my mind. I am a blessed man! I am grateful for your life. 

Right now: is there a storm raging around you? Ask God for peace inside. Stop and take a moment to remember all the great people God has brought into your life. Say a prayer of thanks to Him and remember… Always be thankful.
